Farooq has prepared art workshop curriculums in collaboration with the late Cheryl Trujillo for Zanbeel's SAALY Program from 2010-2014. Farooq has also participated in Zanbeel’s exhibitions at Santa Monica Art Studios from 2008-2010. He has worked with Zanbeel since 2008.
